Re: AquaMED Dry Hydrotherapy
We have had our AquaMED for 6 years and I can
only say it has been a pleasure to own this piece
of equipment. AquaMED is a great tool for any rehab
doctor with a varied practice. I originally
purchased this product to use it in softening
muscles before performing muscle energy techniques
and to relax patients who have muscle tension and
tautness.
I have many other pieces of equipment. The
AquaMED requires the least amount of maintenance
and we have had no problem with reimbursement.
Every piece of medical equipment I have must serve
the needs of the patient and be efficacious, the
AquaMED fits these requirements.
In the great scheme of things, no office
my size, I have 12 staff members and 4600 square
feet, should be without an AquaMED. An added
benefit for me has been, since the day it was
installed, I have not had to deal with an angry or
hostile patient due to my being late returning from
the hospital to my practice. If I am running late,
I will call ahead and direct my staff to place the
patient on the AquaMED for a treatment. After the
therapy, the patient could care less if I ever
showed up.
From the sales people to customer service,
AquaMED staff has always been extremely helpful. My
staff is not particularly good with servicing
equipment; if we have a problem they call the
service tech at AquaMED and are guided through the
problem until it is fixed. They even sent us a
video! I have no trouble recommending AquaMED to my
peers.
Sincerely,

Irving I. Haber, D.O.
